Naming Ceremonies are celebratory occasions to express joy and hope for a new birth in the family.

These ceremonies are not Baptisms or Christenings but have been referred to as secular christenings.

A Naming Ceremony can be an event by itself or can be included in a Wedding Ceremony where there are children from different partners.

It can be a wonderful opportunity to include Grandparents and sponsors in a significant way in the child's future.
